In 2022-2023, the actors guild went on strike. It was the longest strike in the history of the entertainment industry – all actors big and small were included.
We found out (some of us already knew) most actors were BROKE. Which is hilarious, because we were taught to believe they were rich.
During the same time…the writers went on strike as well. I realized my work for my film would put me in the same position, so I walked away. I have family money, and at that time…major accomplishments even though I wasn’t recognizing them.
That was the straw that broke the camels back. That’s why I walked away from Rockefeller.
All of it was a big, fat lie.
If you watched that unfold, and saw some of the biggest names in Hollywood protesting whilst on strike…if you learned about the Epstein files.
If you can’t see that the entertainment business is dead.
You have serious issues.
Social media, and as an example Claude Design, any number of independent outlets are thriving because people want real work, and not regurgitation. There’s only so many times you can keep feeding people the same thing until it looses sustenance.
Take for example, the third or fourth Odyssey film. Why do we need another? I’m 39…I’ve seen my fair share of this epic. I’d rather read the book than pay money to see a story I’ve known about.
Hollywood has run out of ideas. They don’t pay their talent well. There’s a secret society that abuses women and children (and that’s putting it lightly)
And they try to determine the happiness of your life by rail thin women, and misogynistic men.
You could be creating and ignoring all of that. It’s a trap. Set yourself free. Because it’s going to continue going downward. There’s no reviving it. Especially here in America.
But all countries have an entertainment industry, and you’ll see similar unrealistic view points and abuse all over. It’s an excuse to be vain, and detached from your truth.
Then there’s the mass control that has worked so well, people are still chasing Birken bags…
SHEIN busted everything wide open during Trumps trade wars. Gucci sneakers are available on their website for 80% less than the original market value. China told the world most of the luxury items we like to buy are literally made in China. No one believed them apparently.
It’s just been interesting watching all the lies unfold. But choosing the path I’m on puts me at peace. I’ve said all of this to say – choosing your own peace and destiny is the smartest thing you can ever do.
