You adapt to life, or you should.
You also hope that when certain things fail you, you’re still going to adapt. I never know where I’m going to land.
I seem to always have my eyes closed.
I checked on numbers for the last three months. Somehow, I managed to keep millions of eyes on me. I’m not sure how. I’ve really been going through it.
Things have definitely picked back up, especially with The Fray being animated. I’m writing this blog as a reality check for us all.
I’ve managed to shake off several individuals who were bent on fame and fortune – I am bent on being heard. Those are completely different.
I allowed my voice to those people. It conjures up good things – that ability was pillaged. In the hopes I’d never recover…they then turned their teeth on me. They wanted to be exactly where I sit right now.
If you work as hard as I do or anyone else…your progress will still be there. If you try to rip it from someone…
I can’t guarantee the same.
Lessons have been learned. One of which will always stick with me. On a more sour note though, as sometimes I feel alone.
Never let anyone try to change you for their benefit. Ever. If you prefer being seen – be seen. If you don’t…hide. But never change what you’re doing because it makes someone else uncomfortable.
Please also know…good work is appreciated and seen. Building a name for yourself in the right way is like…armor. Protection. Your success will still be there.
