In My Own Hands

We tend to forget about our magic. Maybe something catastrophic happened, and we couldn’t take time for ourselves to even consider it anymore. Toxic relationships have a way of blinding us from our abilities.

Truly, our worst enemies is typically ourselves.

So, what happens when you unlock something in you? Or is it remembering what you can do?

It is definitely clearing away mental fog. A-ha moments. Sometimes even – “I can’t believe I fell into that kind of thinking.“

You can save yourself. You’ll have to, time and again. Everyone else is fighting their own demons – focus on yours.

When you do find your magic again, what does it feel like?

I feel a sense of peace and calm. No worry or fear…just contentment, more than anything. When my mind isn’t focusing on any one terrible thing, it sees how silly we were being.

It brings itself back.

Hardly anyone talks about this in the spiritual community, because they all believe you fix yourself, and that’s it. Except, it’s constant growth. You master things as you go along, but you are never truly done.

In fact, the more you’re willing to grow…that expansion makes room for so much more than you realize.
