Recently, I cut ties with someone who had been featured in LadBible – I tell this as a cautionary story and nothing more.
I assume my kindness was taken for stupidity, because he inserted himself in a future scenario. This was mentioned in a previous blog post. I shot down the possibility because I do not work well with other writers. Everyone is trying to compete and use people, just about.
When I mentioned someone I barely know – he curled up into himself – this after me openly rejecting any chances of working with him.
It was obvious he was hanging around to see what he could get, and had no clear intent of being a decent human being.
So yes – I cut off one of the most popular cosplayers around š« not everyone creating content is a good person. I would consider him a has been, since he made it obvious he was clawing for views and popularity. Itās okay if things slow down.
Since about March – thatās all Iāve been doing – blocking people. I donāt mind making friends, but I keep getting bombarded with bullshit like I prefer that shade of irony.
I understand itās a part of being successful, but when has using a total stranger ever got anyone anything?
