Colorism

If you could erase one trend from history, what would it be?

One would say everything is white washed. Others take strides to create black characters to make others more comfortable (like anime, which is stupid. Because it’s Japanese…)

I say – painting everything the color you want…white or black, is wrong.

Can we move away from race? Can we function without degradation? Skin color plays a huge role in communication. People aren’t seen as artists or doctors.

They’re seen as their race.

Representation matters entirely, but then I see it taken too far. Are you going to eliminate the people you seem to hate so much? Because that would be counterproductive.

It isn’t to say racism isn’t real or slavery didn’t happen. But also – did it ever occur to anyone these things happen for psychological reasons? Someone wants you to hate your neighbor. If you didn’t, there would be peace.

And that’s boring and doesn’t fit whoever’s agenda.

If an asteroid hit Earth and ended all life…it’s not going to skip any one particular race. Sickness and diseases functions in that same manner.

There is announcing what you are and being proud of it…then there’s using it to oppress others.

History does repeat itself. I’m sitting this one out. I’ve seen enough to know that while the tables could easily be turned, we will simply end up right back where we started, as the human race.
