To Stall

Someone keeps trying to sign into my Facebook.

Bless their heart.

I receive the notification, and to my greatest delight, they are unable to.

I imagine this is also the same person who was mimicking my blogging account in recent weeks. Still trying to figure out the point you’re proving…

I believe another episode (or two) for The Fray will be released tomorrow – that is exciting.

It has been so hot this week. I managed to stay indoors, and we actually had pretty much all we need. I welcome the relief coming next week – upper seventies with rain.

I am happy with where I am in life – mentally moreover. Even with the events they have unfolded since 2019 and 2020, I’ve felt myself grow a lot. There was a time I would react to a pin drop and I didn’t know why.

There was a madness I couldn’t explain, and I also felt like I didn’t want to explain it. Going within – not dragging anyone else into it, really helped me maintain that chaos. I felt shame for flinching and not finishing.

While I wrote books – I never finished anything more than a novella. And it is a lot – 12 novellas. But finishing The Fray made everything fall into place. I took my time, I had a plan and I still do.

To that I say – working on yourself and doing what you love is highly possible. It’s up to you to decide if you want to go that route.
