The Ick

Every single person attached to my ex did the same thing just about – orbited into my atmosphere, compared, competed.

And lost.

He has a gathering of pick me women. I was in the wrong place.

Someone recently asked why I produced and wrote These Boys(Ain’t Cute Enough) and here’s why –

“He was jealous of me. I released music in 2023, and it gained a lot of attention. He was watching everything I did. So he was copying my every move but not experiencing the same success. When I entered a contest for Maxim last year, and stayed at first place for nine rounds, instead of voting for me, he entered a contest as well. Then had the nerve to ask if I ever won anything. That’s when our issues started. I realized he was competing. He was like number 42 for the contest he entered. Shortly after that, he began sabotaging my accounts, and pretending he didn’t, all while really trying to move out here and live off of my bread. So I wrote that song (there’s a version with vocal) because that’s how I felt at the time lol”

No…that would have been scary. The guy secretly hating me…moves out here, with no intent of working. How was that going to work out?

No matter how much anyone tries to copy you, they can never match the original. Someone else he worked with constantly messaged me with her accomplishments and seldom said anything about mine or what I do. She openly compared herself in conversations, and I just about had my fill. Why are we competing when we can be creating?

I hope this explanation clears up not only why I broke up with him, but why the song was created in the first place. It is one of my most popular songs, streaming on Spotify.
