How do you practice self-care?

It seems as though it would be simple, but it sometimes isn’t. My favorite thing about this topic that I’ve learned is the idea has been misconstrued!

When we think self care, we always assume it’s shopping and bubble baths. When in fact, it is setting healthy boundaries, saying no and doing for ourselves.

And reaffirming those boundaries as well. The more you tell those who continue trying to use you “no”, the less they’ll try stepping to you in the first place.

I’ve seen that certain types will still play games, or try to get their way. But remember, they’re more fearful than you are.
