Getting views with someone else’s music is ok.

Bringing in astronomical numbers with your own is even better. Being self made is exquisite.

Yesterday, one of my videos reach 12k views with my song Delgado on it.

The previous day, They Won’t Stop by ThÄ-LØBÖ was featured on a video that reached 9k views. We’re both indie artists. Honestly, this is amazing and decadent.

It’s gorgeous, fulfilling, luminous, sexy. It’s exactly what you want when you post your own content somewhere, and I am in awe.

It occurred to me that the atmosphere has been set…the bar has been risen. Not for anyone to rise to that occasion, but for me to come back and set it even higher for myself.

It is truly amazing to create, post content and see it flourish like this. Maybe it’s not on any major play lists, or on the radio, and really I’m ok with that. It’s my own work, it’s flows how I see fit. I’m being realistic.

I don’t want the Hollywood glitz because I am my own person. Setting a new standard seems impossible to most – let me show you why it’s necessary.
