It’s not a stretch, but more so needed information. I’m working on chapter 16 of The Ether. One of these chapters will be lengthy, or I’ll be writing up to a 500 page book if need be.
The Fray mentions the Wake and Nia Cervantez’ inheritance, but doesn’t divulge further. There’s a more gruesome story unfolding, as promised in The Ether.
War is coming, so secrets are unveiling themselves throughout secondary characters, such as Dorin (Nia’s uncle) and his fiancée, Justine. The second part to this three part manuscript has taken a very dark turn, yet it all links back to Nia and her heritage.
Without further details, I’m more than pleased. So enjoy the passages in the above image 🙂
While this piece of work is much darker (as mentioned) than The Fray, it also begins to shed light on a lot. Which I am more than happy to provide. All three parts will intersect at the end of the novel, which makes way for the third manuscript – in which case I have no idea when I’ll start (or finish).
Currently, The Ether is sitting at a little over 50k words (53k) which really does leave me wondering if this book will be a hundred or so pages longer, given that The Fray is 400 pages!
With everything going on – I may take another vacation 😅 it’s a lot, but I am happy.
