This is both nerve wracking and unnerving all in the same breath.
Every time I look at my art and Savage Fenty X’s product, I sink a little deeper into my sorrows.
Not much of a crier, but I am not happy. And I won’t be until this is resolved.
I’ve set up a GoFund me to help with legal costs, so every bit helps. And this is only the beginning. This can takes months and hopefully not longer.
Savage Fenty X of course ignored me when I reached out. To no one’s surprise.
It makes me feel heavy and helpless.
But, taking a stand may show bigger businesses that they simply can’t take from whoever and get away with it.
The art wasn’t on social media…it was on my website. That means someone went digging. On my website.
The image has a copyright symbol and a watermark. And even if they felt it wasn’t significant, taking someone else’s art to make money is wrong and everyone knows it.
I have my proof and will continue to proceed.
