Yesterday evening, someone stopped by with a huge box of food. I’d only met them one day in passing, so it came as a shock. It was needed, considering I have children (and the fact that half a gallon of milk is $3!)

The art ABY has me in a choke hold. It’s all the little details for me. When I look at everything, I realize so many details from the book are visible.
I put a lot of effort into illustrating the cover, so seeing the remnants of that – the split ribbon…that makes me so happy (it looks like a ribbon of blood as well)
