We live in an our world littered by opinions. Do this, wear that, you’re this – you’re that. However, we seldomly hear kindness and truths.
It’s hard being soft in a place that constantly demands you need to be harsh to survive.
With that being said, I’d like to introduce you to Athul Kriprilani Ashok, and his approach to the unkindnesses of this planet we call Earth.
His approach is gentle, and includes both sides. While there is a stark contrast between male and female, the arguing and finger pointing has gotten us no where fast. The best approach is honesty with ourselves before approaching much needed conversations.
He decided to start creating anime theme panels in his Threads account, geared towards body positivity, especially for women. Men endure teasing as well, but the infrastructure set seems to humiliate the gentler sex a little more.
Some of the physicality we anticipate is rooted in pedophilia, sexual abuse, mental and verbal abuse, and unrealistic expectations of women (and that is just to name a few).
Most of the women who endure this hear it from family and friends. Social media broadens the wounds…
But what if we healed those wounds? The concept is to consider the possibility of not only stepping forth in our truths, but standing up in light and fighting back with guile, integrity and self love.
