Who are your favorite people to be around?

Firstly my children and significant other. No contest.

After that, those who are artistic, wholesome, openly loving, kind and generous. Maybe we won’t be friends until the end of time, but kindness goes a long way.

Being genuine is so overlooked in an age where men will blast a woman for wearing fake nails and hair…but that is all he follows on his social media accounts. Being genuine means being authentic outwardly, which means I’d rather make friends with a woman who is wearing a 30” wig, than a person quick to judge her – her choice is obvious.

Openly loving is a difficult task for many. We all build walls around ourselves. However, we’ve all had kind experiences enough for us to share the love we’ve received.

Being wholesome should be easy – what makes you laugh that’s probably juvenile or cutesy? Hearing someone explain a memory or a song they love is one of the best feelings in the world…because it’s dear to them and they wanted to share that with you.

You don’t need a room full of people to feel an ounce of what I’ve described, either.

But those are my favorite people to be around.
