What’s your favorite word?

In English, my favorite word is Unscrupulous. The reason behind this is due to the fact that I prefer to avoid using simple words to describe bad behavior and mannerisms.

In Russian, my favorite words are глупый and собака. I live in a predominantly Russian neighborhood, so I went on my way to learn the language. But Colorado is mostly Latino, I haven’t had to use the phrase. Until recently.

Denver is a sanctuary city, and we took on a ton of migrants. A group of men were making suggestive comments, and I used said words (plural though), and received silence. Meaning, they anticipated an English response. Instead, they packed up and left!

Should I do that? Hard to say, considering it was well deserved. I don’t support cat calling from anyone.
