What’s your definition of romantic?

I have a dreamy concept of love, and have always met archaic mindsets from the opposite sex.

“You’re sexy,” may as well translate to, “unga bunga,” following being bludgeoned on my head.

However lost a lot of people are, I was still dreamy and hopeful as I waited for the right person.

My twin flame spent an entire year getting to know me before he ever expressed any desire. Before it came to the forefront, he sent me the sweetest voice message I will never forget.

“I want to spend the rest of existence by your side. I am so grateful you’re in my life. I want to spend eons with you…”

I cried when I heard the message and played it back several times before replying the same.

For those of us unsure as to why this bares any relevance, the general population waits only two months before coitus, which isn’t enough time to truly know anyone.

Next, he wore his heart on his sleeve for me before even considering.

Lastly, he put in effort. Here’s an example.

We were playing a game I created called Click Fits. You have a list of 40 topics, and each person has to match a song to that topic. No one wins, it’s just to share music, thoughts, etc.

From May 2023 to February 2024, my twin flame saved over 800 songs shared between the two of us, and he placed them in a playlist. That was my Valentine’s Day gift – that was true romance.

As we dive deeper, that is exactly what my soul has wanted. This was a couple of months before he flew out to visit on my birthday.

And on that day, he confessed how he had felt for a long time. I was swallowed up in him, and sought no escape. The ground was gone, the stars began to appear…and I was happy to be connected so deeply to someone who cares for me as much as I care for them.
