Writing – again. As the title states. I always have a character I’m obsessed with, and this time it’s an Ether elf.
I won’t give too much away about her, but she graces the cover of the novel I’m currently working on. I’m almost to the halfway point! And I am still taking my time. Pretty soon, I will work on an illustration for Liliana…her design is breathtaking.
The chapter I’m working in drove me to write up this blog. I realized I’m having fun again. Creating should be fun, not a task. Not a chore. Fun.
In the darkness of a recent evening, I crafted a necromancy ritual. I automatically knew of one ingredients used – wolfsbane. (And yes, I questioned my true purpose on Earth) After researching (and being correct about wolfsbane) I began writing my chapter. It is eerily described, haunting, disturbing and illustrious.
Now that Liliana is awake, it’s stated she smells of burnt cedar and red roses. And I thought…what a strong, unique and wonderful smell for a zombie elf! The werewolves from the Guild of Wolves are willing to risk it all, too…it’s definitely time to illustrate her.
