Dear Mom,

How you managed to hang on until the very end will always be a mystery to me – anyone else would have curled up and died with stage four cancer. I always admire your tenacity and willingness. We had our differences, and developed past them as we both got older.

I am grateful to have been your daughter. I love you, always. Happy Mother’s Day
