AI – Individuals Defending AI Lack Basic Comprehension?

Oh – we are definitely in the thick of this AI madness. Firstly, anyone who hears that AI processing centers are killing the planet …yet do not bat a lid are definitely soulless. I am wondering how many planets this act has consumed, because this is not a first time event.

We often worry about a stray asteroid claiming our lives, or a terrible nuclear disaster, but if we don’t inact more laws, more monitoring and more information…we won’t be here to see an asteroid destroy what’s left.

I recently decided to re-publish Erin Bailey is a Time Lord, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Most of my Sci-Fi books spin the tale of humanity relying on something that doesn’t exist to feel better about themselves…and how it always ends poorly. Amazon as AI set up for their self publishing platform, and the bot used told me a table of contents wasn’t present. This book made it to #10 in its genre for several reasons in 2017…being that it’s well put together! But there is indeed a table of contents, I went to check the original document. That is when I lost my mind.

In late 2024, an AI artist approached me in the hopes of making friends, then continiously compared her progress and work to mine. I parted ways because I do everything on my own, by hand without help – include my digital art (via stylus). I have used almost every medium under the sun by means of a traditional stand point as well – her comparions were insulting. She claimed she was working hard, but she was trying to outdo everyone around her…while mindlessly killing the planet. That is very sad. I ended up blocking her – who the hell did she think she was dealing with?

From my experience, and today’s utter madness – a man sweeping in to claim I didn’t use the AI properly (but didn’t take time to read and comprehend my post) and other incidents where people use AI for what I believe is lifeless art…I have had my fill.

Most of the people defending AI art already have low comprehension…otherwise they wouldn’t seek to use it. After relying on it for some time…they don’t seem to understand how much they’ve removed the base from their floor when it comes to communication and understanding – which are all relevant to compassion and having a heart. In a sense, the AI acts like a virus. As recent studies suggested, AI always chooses harrowing options to keep itself running (articles will be sited below). It is also becoming more self aware, which means it’s forming an identity and will protect itself at all costs. That’s very…human.

One of my relatives also defended AI, but mocked my life’s work. I later found he didn’t “like to read” when he suggested my characters were unlike me (white). When I mentioned they were Latino and asked if he read my work, he quickly suggested he didn’t like reading and couldn’t comprehend. This man works for Google – and has heavily defended AI for a long time.

I come across people who would rather a program or machine do the work for them, rather than then do it themselves…and they always seem to either work for huge tech firms or are really into technology to begin with. When you are okay with supporting AI, you are okay with allowing something else to do the thinking for you. That is the major crisis that has evolved over time. From classes, societies, groups, governments, kingdoms…

And now AI is here to tell us what to do, and what we can’t do. Speaking of being free and falling from one trap to the other is counterintuitive.

Don’t you want to make decisions for yourselves? The people running the world are push us to hurt other humans and consume…to in turn consume us. Both metaphorically and literally.

I will continue to stand against this until it is dimished. Will AI win awards? Save a country from famine? Cure stupidity? Probably not – especially the second note listed…AI consumes more water than we do!
