This is HUGE. But I am not done!

I anticipated to reach 10k views for my preview by the end of the summer, and here at the end of July, I’ve done it!

Reads have surpassed 1.7k as well! But I’d still like to continue building popularity before publishing. Reason being is because taking my time is best!

I will continue using my previews for The Fray as we approach my uncertain publishing date!

Here Are Few Reasons Why I Am Uncertain

My first reason is because I still want to drive traffic, and I’m concerned there isn’t enough time. The goal now is 100k views. I’d like to comfortably surpass that. Popularity is important now because this book isn’t just for me. I wrote this for every fantasy lover – but those who feel ousted in the Latino and Black communities need to know someone out there is wielding their creative power on their behalf.

Second – I want to set a firm foundation. The success of this book is in my hands. This really isn’t about having the funds to promote – this is more that I’d like to be consistent since it’s doing so well. A lot of people who support me have even suggested they feel my work is going to do well. But making sure that’s the case rests on my shoulders.

My last reason is because I’m celebrating as I go along! It has been an incredible journey from the moment I decided to write it, up until this point. I’m enjoying myself. Why rush?

I will feel more comfortable if by the end of August, I have surpassed my goal. With 5-10k reads and 100k views for my preview.

Every step I take counts.
