Lessons

How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

Mistakes and failures should really be called lessons.

What did you learn? Can you take something awake from needing to start again?

Starting over isn’t bad, especially when you’re well equipped. Having gone through a difficult situation, where you know nothing but think you’ve tried everything means you’re ego driven.

If the lesson doesn’t allow your higher self to come forth, and work alongside your ego, in harmony – you’ll go through the same trials again until you figure it out.

Failure is an end note – it’s over. There’s nothing more you can do. There is a solution to the problem, most of us have decided to stop trying.

(Perhaps quitting should be the same as failing?)

But getting up and trying again means you took something from that trial, and are willing to learn from it…allowing you, the result and everything else surrounding this to flourish, grow and ascend.

  1. Excellent way of reframing failure. Failure is such a negative word, but it is so valuable. If you’re not failing at anything in life, you’re probably not doing anything either.

    1. That part. The word has a sting to it. But if you’re not failing, you’re certainly not doing much. Or you’re afraid to. Skinning your knee is a requirement in life. A perfect set of knees would concern me. Having tried, and gotten back up is far more admirable.

I like to say, that if it is ever easy, it isn’t worth it.
