What is your favorite drink?

I’m close to saying water as it is beneficial. But, there is one drink I favor that I seldom consume, actually.

I love a well done cappuccino – I was almost going to mention French Vanilla Latte!

I’ve had cappuccino all over Denver, but the best cafe to serve them is named Aviano Coffee. It’s been ages since I’ve been, and I am certainly overdue.

It’s frothy, intense…off tone sweet. Not the type of sweet that hits you and may detour you. A sense that lingers. The foam keeps the liquid from bordering the sides as your server brings your order to you. You stare into the abyss of creamy wonder floating atop…ashamed you have to take a sip. And once you do you realize, if done well, the foam is here to stay.

Aside from the quality drinks, the atmosphere and decor is to die for. In the front, there is a large window that’s propped open during the warm seasons. Inside, there are house plants, and illustrations of faeries, butterflies and flowers.

The seating is interesting. On one wall, the seats cascade like mini bleachers. Then there are other tables and seats if you’d prefer those.

The cappuccino by itself was incredible. But the feeling of this cafe sold me as well.
