Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

From the age of six, both of my parents taught me to sew, crochet, paint, illustrate, and introduced me to jewelry making. I stopped briefly, or made things occasionally…but I’ve just never stopped at all.

I started writing when I was eight – another interest I never stopped. I didn’t see the need in stopping – and I mean literally just never picking it up again. I would say I was depressed and distracted from creating.

It isn’t hard to guess that is all I do now, best that I venture to say there were moments it didn’t occur to me, but truly was never a long amount of time.

I even picked up gardening again, another gift given to me from my abuela and my father. I would say everything I do has evolved – and helped me heal.
