Acer 🤯

Write about your first computer.

When I was 12, my father bought the cheapest Acer he could find. It was so cheap, it froze whenever you went to shut it down, properly. I hit the power button one day, and that famous blue screen and its lovely message popped up the next time it was turned on.

Christmas, 1997, my uncle helped my father fix it. I was grounded, even though he bought the very cheap machinery. And prior to me getting on, he was on it…hint hint.

Afterwards, it worked like a dream. This is when I discovered my love for PC gaming, there was a racing game that came with the PC. It was Dystopian era type, and I cannot remember the name, but I was very good at it 😍

I used to play with my Gameboy Brick, so PC gaming with the keyboard was a challenge…and absolutely worth it.

As an adult, I have owned my own laptop without someone else purchasing it for me for about three years now. I actually use the internet on my phone more, and write out novels and illustrate on my laptop. Eventually, I may replace it. Windows 11 has to be updated on it, and if the RAM can’t handle the download…well, you know!

We’ll see!
