In what ways do you communicate online?
Online experiences vary, but no matter if irl or on my phone, I do my best to be genuine and kind. I prefer to keep my mouth closed on topics I’m not familiar with, and thrive in my small group of friends.
I prefer kindness over cruelty. Watching my friends succeed, create, fall in love, or heal is all crucial to my communication process. I remember everything and bring things up in conversations. I never judge (no will I ever), and often try to give advice. If not that, I compliment anything I see, especially done by friends. Encouragement is enlightenment.
Since I am quiet most of the time, the previously mention methods work well. I have friends all over the world, but those who I am closest to, we speak occasionally. One person, I’ve been friends with for nine years now! We update each other, and share our favorite memes. He has given me advice, and looks out for me. He works for an audio book company in Italy, so often times he’ll ask for the English pronunciation!
Despite how people can be, my experience online has been pleasant. I steer clear of politics and I don’t follow trends – and I am in one piece (and in peace)
It’s better to be yourself.
