Yes, Often!

Do you ever see wild animals?

Seeing wild animals, even here in Denver is actually more common than people realize.

I’m observant though, I’m enamored by most things around me.

The number one thing I see the most are hawks, soaring and searching for food. I have gotten as close as several feet, watching one fly off from its kill, and soar into the air. I was taking a walk at the time.

Next to that, you’ll see coyotes during dawn. They do not typically mess with you, unless you mess with them.

At one point, before major development occurred here in Denver, you would see male deer trample into the city. They were just as confused as we were whenever it happened.

As you get to the foothills, and a little further into the mountains…there is a lot to behold. Cougars, elk and buffalo in some areas depending.

Elk sightings and mountain lion sightings are more common, along side grizzly bears as well (they usually come out of hibernation and break into trash bins to cars in search of food!)
