She is a pivotal character in The Fray, and I almost favor her over others.
Youāre viewing the description of her mental illness. The novel takes place in the late 1890s, when mental illness was treated with great lengths that helped no one. There are several descriptions in my novel that paint the picture of Isabella Montageās treatment, but I likened it to a super power. If youāre familiar with history, especially asylums and mental health diagnosesā¦youāll know exactly which I describe without mentioning it (take a guess)
