Halfway Done Isn’t Done At All

What part of your routine do you always try to skip if you can?

Whether my routine is meticulous or insane is yet to be decided, I do not skip steps because I hate having to go back and fix something.

It’s not me reaching for perfection, but rather if it isn’t done entirely, it’s not done…?

I imagine the reason we experience what’s known as human error, is the thought of assuming if we skip a step…it’ll be alright. Margarine is a molecule or two away from being plastic…and you shouldn’t eat it.

The only time skipping a step (or taking a short cut) works is maybe walking to and from school. Everything, even gaming, takes time and practice.

If you skip steps making a recipe, it won’t come out right. Skipping steps while building a bridge will result in fatalities (and it’s happened before, let that sink in).

Skipping a step while driving – paying attention to all of your surrounding, using patience and common sense…and you suddenly decide that’s beneath you…causes car accidents.

I sincerely hope this is making sense…?
