Furry Companions

What is good about having a pet?

Having a pet is quite the experience, one you probably won’t regret.

Animals have feelings, and showcase them just like humans. I feel that pets/animals are vulnerable because they are dumb (meaning, they cannot speak) and they are aware of this. While humans try hiding their vulnerabilities, animals never have.

It’s a learning experience. Your dog or cat has needs, relies on you and conveys affection when you’re needed. They unashamedly show their love to you, regardless of race, background, sex or financial status.

Dogs physically protect you and your home – cats spiritually protect you and your space. I find both to be wondrous, and haven’t owned anything else. I would love to, though. Like turtles, or a bearded dragon. I find that all animals know when they’re loved, and will love you back.

In addition to that, I find more couples would rather have a dog or cat, instead of a child. Families spend the most and waste the most…and often adults grew up abused. Considering they may not make a good parent is wise, instead of having a child that will grow up in the same light, or suffer even though that’s not the parents intent. Having a fur baby is an awesome substitute. Especially when you adopt from local animal shelters!

Human life is important, but animals need to be treated with more respect, because if you take away one…the world will lose its balance.
