When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?
Success is a prism of topics.
I want to address one seldom discussed.
Motherhood shouldn’t be thankless, but it is.
Anytime a woman goes through nearly ten months of body changes, emotional trauma, and pain like this…
To be excited and further do for their offspring…that is a major success.
To be a phenomenal mother…wanting to be a mother. Doing what you can with what you have. Showing how much you care, tiring yourself out…for a child who’s slightly clueless.
It is success. To know you’re susceptible to diseases (lupus, diabetes) death, or even losing a child. But to bring forth life, and love it dearly…no greater success and wholesomeness in that.
So as a whole, and individually. Mothers are successful to me.
