What’s your #1 priority tomorrow?
Every Monday, I clean the entirety of my room, and bathroom. I have the master bedroom in my home. It doesn’t take me all day, but I love cleaning.
I listen to music, vacuum, dust, scrub…you name it. And then I vacuum the carpet and my rugs as well.
I say to my children – “I like a clean home.”
Then, I sweep the rest of the house, clean the kitchen and relax for the rest of the day.
It gives me joy to clean because there was a time my lupus got the best of me. I am grateful to function more without becoming tired or sick.
I did what I could in those days, and I had to learn to take better care of myself. After too many close -to-dying experiences, I took my health into my own hands, and am all the better for it.
