What things give you energy?

My mind tinkers on the things it doesn’t like, and throws them into the abyss of nothingness. I idle at that action, and press forward.

Illumination erupts from my movements, as I cross paths with more things my mind doesn’t like, when I spot the warmth and love from a smaller being – a child. Hugging embraces, giggles and the constant need to be under me gives me a lift.

After prying myself from the loving arms of my offspring, I am lifted once again by sweet sentiments, and continuous affection from the love of my life.

My mind likes this, it was idling for this moment. The greatness of its existence and essence realize there may not be a need for the abyss of nothingness today as another child rounds the corner, smothering me with their love.

Fully lifted, full of light and love, I feel nothing could possibly take me down as I float onward to start my day.
