What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?

Pen and paper. Tech has blips, but a great ink pen and a leather journal will save you each and every time.

You can doodle, jot down notes, log in a daily poem, or someone else may need it.

You don’t have to charge either, and if you buy a decent pen…you’ll have it for a while.

It’s actually less waste – and if you were to throw it out…the journal is at least biodegradable. The writing utensil is choosing a lesser evil in this case.

Do you have children and need them to settle as you wait? Pen and paper. Tic tac toe, doodle attempts, keeping score while counting the colors of cars. The possibilities are endless.

This combination has been around for centuries. That’s how reliable it is. I’ve had two leather journals for eight years. Neither are full but both have a been used well.
