Today’s moon is at 2% illumination, sitting in Gemini. By Friday, we’ll have a new moon in Cancer, so let’s go over that shift of energy.

Today can be practical and full of creativity. I challenge you to pick one thing – and finish it. Gemini is a mutable sign, so sometimes the energy is all over. Indecision seems cute until you have a critical decision to make. 

By Friday, we may be overly caring or overly guarded. Cancers are very artistic as well, I would certainly take this time to start a project or finish something as well. Sharing your love with others is great, just don’t expand yourself to the point of exhaustion. Take this time to love yourself as well – meditation, a trip to the coffee shop…watching your favorite movie. There’s so much you can do to lift your spirits. 

During the morning, the evening star can be seen, alongside Mercury. During the evening, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Mars and Uranus will be visible. Not the least bit surprised but delighted. There was a recent alignment, so the planets are still dancing around each other. They’re almost still in their respective positions before leading off, so it’s always nice to catch them before they slip off once more.

There were two major conjunctions this year, and two planetary alignments. This is highly significant because of the movement of energy, and shifting of stances so to speak. Energy is always shifting and moving, as is life and the universe. Planetary placements are important during these times, but will always feature your major three in your birth chart. I like to add that your Venus sign is your magic and how you create…so if the planet from your Venus is shifting, expect great things. 

Now that it’s quieted down for the season, you can assume there’s work to be done even still. Learning something new, no matter your age or how much experience you have will always be a thing.

Today’s reading is bringing a reminder. I can state why with specificity. It’s important to know that while it’s great to move energy and create, setting boundaries is far more important in most cases. 

First we have Alchemy. This deals with transmutation – shifting negative to positive for balance’s sake. This has to be done in order to achieve anything, despite what anyone else will tell you. Without that shifting, nothing would get done. Oftentimes, this requires us to swallow our pride, and do what’s best.

Next, we have Compassion. This is easier said than done because people have a tendency to do a lot of undeserving things. But today, in order to transmute, we must look past how petty and selfish others can be…for the greater good. Setting boundaries, openly, is what’s needed in a lot of cases. People who are not high vibrating enjoy trying to bring others down. To transmute properly, focus on knowing it’s a game to them, and shift that energy anyway.

Lastly is Discernment. Walking away from something is wiser than taking it head on. When someone’s goal is to try everything under the sun to hurt you, ignoring them is best. Don’t monologue, don’t ask why…shift the energy back to them and move on. Cut off contact if need be, sometimes people need to learn that space is often needed for growth.
