How do you express your gratitude?

When someone has done something for me, no matter how big or small…I pledge my loyalty to them. I do my best to return the favor, even if all I can do is listen.

I am unwavering, having not changed my mannerisms and morals. So if you’ve done good by me, I will sing your praises.

When I was younger, I had to learn who not to pledge myself to, as some people do favors to control others. And for a long while, I fought with myself over that, stating that I was foolish. As I’ve grown older, I do not regret helping people when I thought it was right. I’m glad I’ve learned and moved past that.
