As the months have gone along, prior to the release of my first song, I have also created a handful of others.
Originally, Erin Bailey is a Time Lord would have been a film, but I’m not one for playing games. As mentioned before, I walked away from everything. However, when I started previewing Unholy for my audiences, it was widely received. In doing this, though, I have created songs for The Dirty Deities. The discussion of creating an independent entertainment company has brought this up. (It’s needed) So far, previews from Unholy have garnered nearly 50k views.
A lot of my music will be instrumentals until I am able to vocal record collaborations with my boyfriend. We have a full EP project, and three singles we are currently working on. In the meantime, I am thoroughly enjoying myself!
The beauty of being self made and a creator is…I can do what I want with what I create. I also own the trademarks to everything I shell out, my music not being exempt from that. What’s even more exciting is, I am making sounds that suit me…more over than picking through a selection already decided for me.
I would like to move almost entirely away from using commercial music, since I thrive at creating for myself. During the earliest parts of my writing career, I refused to download images for my book covers. Instead, I began illustrating my own…and I couldn’t be happier I took that route.
Limiting myself at this point would involve me not fully using the registry of music I have created since October of 2023. With a substantial amount of songs, I am fully able to steer clear of commercial music, even though there are great songs and artists alike.
Here is a preview of the song titled Delgado, from The Dirty Deities.
