What is your favorite season of year? Why?

I have two seasons that I adore, for many reasons.

My simplest explanation is that both spring and fall are of change, and balance.

The autumnal equinox ushers in death, and change. The vernal equinox ushers in new beginnings…and change, once again.

The colors and opportunistic visuals are among my favorite reasons for both seasons. The yellowing oranges and fierce reds of autumn. The softness and coy nature of spring flowers that bloom.

When a breeze blows, I have layers to accompany that. My muted floral prints are matched by hats, scarves and reasons for tea later in the day.

When a storm comes through, I can smell the rain, thick and thriving to further the renewal. Yet, as snow fall mattes the fallen leaves, frosting the ground and coaxing along with the steadying chilled air, I am at peace with this transition.
