Hiatus

How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

As someone who is self made, and oftentimes relies on their phone, I do still get rest.

But apart from using focus on my iPhone, I also take breaks to clear my head.

I recently started helping a fast growing page on Facebook. as a moderator (Brutal Beauties to be exact, my tag name is ➕JCS➕!) I haven’t had time to post my own content so I can get used to posting for their page.

I decided to create a schedule, that way I can make more content and have it available, and also post for their page. In the midst of doing so, I realized I needed a break, so I let my followers know I was stepping away until June 2nd.

Aside from my little vacation, I walk a way from my devices when I’m tired or feeling hapless. It gets old, and wears down on the soul…even if you have nothing but good intent in your heart.

I also mute apps that catch my attention during my vacations, or I keep my phone on do not disturb, only allowing my love’s messages and calls to go through.

I enjoy the perspective of reading my books, crocheting or writing without the insistent need to answer my phone all of the time.
