Walking Away – Fighting with Fools is Foolish

Describe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow.

We never consider who won’t be in our lives as we go along. I certainly did not think I would lose so many friends.

My life was made easier in my earlier 20s because I was a stay at home wife at the time. Eventually we separated due to his infidelities, but he maintained a steady income and provided for his children.

During these times, I had several female friends attempt to gain money by lying. A part of me wanted to confront them, instead I cut off all contact.

For a while, I assumed it was harsh until later on, seeing that their poor behavior had progressed in many terrible ways.

So instead of fighting, or proving people wrong. I’ve learned that when someone is crazy enough to hurt you over money or things, walking away is the better option. To fight with a fool makes you a fool!

On a side note, I won’t be answering prompts for a week! Today is my birthday, and my twin flame flies in at 8:30am today!

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week!
