EDM done right is probably an understatement for this duo!
I had the honor of going to their show, where they played recently at Bounce Empire, here in Colorado. I am a huge fan of EDM, and they did not disappoint. Their energy together is remarkable, and on top of that every single song was epic.
I’m going to catch as many of their shows as possible, but I’m spreading the word because they’re talented and need the spotlight!
The duo consists of Cameron (Violet Svnset) and Simon (Krypto Music), who are both from Colorado. I spent the evening on my first date with their friend – and I believe that is probably the best first date I’ve ever been on. EDM typically pulls from popular songs, except this had so much flare I preferred their versions.
Their style, enthusiasm, skill and passion was present and made for a memorable night. DNA (their cover from the popular Kendrick Lamar song) was one of my favorites. Everything song played during their set had a different sound, but could all be trademarked by them. They also had original tunes, which I will share below. There are also clips available of their live performance, posted here on this blog.
Very, very good music – period. And they’re also very sweet people!
