It’s time. As a anthophile, it had to be done!
Fall is only a couple of weeks away, but I had to purchase at least two pots of chrysanthemums! They are truly stunning colors, and I’m very happy I did so.
Denver often experiences milder winters (meaning, we have cold snaps and not lingering cold), and I grew with a garden full of mums, so these will last a while. I have a beautiful pair of floral print pants I’m longing to wear, because they have similar colors to my newest plants. I also made the pants, it gives good reason to wear them out.
There is a beneficial pause at the moment that I am soaking in. Work doesn’t start again until the seventh, and I haven’t jumped on combining chapters for The Fray quite yet.
Wednesdays are my lazy day. So I’ll be doing much of nothing. I am going to sit outside on my porch, and relax for a moment. That is the extent of my plans. Of course, I have to create a little content, and pick up packages. Other than that, I simply existing.

In the meantime, I’m considering naming my mums. I’ve named my fern, it’s only fair. (The ferns name is Crysta, from Fern Gully).
Speaking of which, I’ll take photos of that next. When I first bought it, it was mid sized. Now it’s massive, and I’m moving it indoors before the first frost. I’m actually excited about that. I already have a spot picked out.
Waiting for autumn to be in full swing, because I have tons of pumpkin recipes I’m making.
