I saw someone say not to talk about your accomplishments, and I beg to differ.
When someone sees that you can achieve something, it helps them realize they can as well. If we all acted like there’s a secret code or recipe, it makes us look like we don’t want anyone else succeeding. I have found more graciousness in sharing what I’ve done, than pretending like it’s top secret, and making myself look foolish.
In the same breath, I will still help people anyway I can. Everyone needs a helping hand.
Recently, I started gaining more followers on my Facebook page. I have also received way more traffic than I have in a while. I have a plan, and I’m testing it out this month, because September is when I really have to put in work.
I received an emerging talent page on my page for this month’s efforts. It took me two weeks, and was no small job. I appreciate being cheered on, in a sense.
Anything is possible with effort and conviction. Wouldn’t you rather try, than wish you hadn’t?
At any rate, I want to thank those who support me. A little goes a long way.
