People don’t like hearing great things take time. Yet, anytime I’ve rushed anything, it simply never worked. While forcing anything also fails you, building over time is way more sustainable.
Establishing yourself and remaining consistent are key. I’ve come to realize that no matter how much I say this, it falls on deaf ears.
I understand you have a goal you want to reach, and you feel as though monetary gain will make your life better. Really, money is a tool. But feeling better about yourself comes from within. You’ll miss so many opportunities trying to get your way, without realizing how much you’ll lose in the process.
Then again, if I don’t continuously repeat this even to myself, what have I learned?
I like to take my time because when something goes awry, I’m not overly consumed in rushing and can step back and assess things. It’s more complicated trying to fix a mess when you’ve rushed and missed key elements.

I’m tired of everyone and everything for the moment, tired of repeating the same lines and realizing people hear what they want. Everyone is trying to keep up…we are all at our own pace. And while I’ve had my trials and landed where I am…
I will never forget what I’ve learned.
Happy to see The Fray preview thriving. On a different note – Deeper ft ThÄ LØ•BÖ released yesterday. I’m grateful to have worked on the song with him, it was a lot of fun!
Despite me seeming melancholy and serious, I am grateful to be where I am.
I guess I’ll just have to keep repeating myself.
