Jealousy is a Disease

Right as I was celebrating my good fortune, someone let their true colors show.

Let me explain this as clearly as possible.

I changed my Facebook page to professional mode. I only have 32 friends.

I obtained about 390 followers during the time I made that decision. 110 more would make me eligible for monetizing through Facebook. I had a goal in mind.

I came back to check statistics, and saw that someone reported two very old posts that are not misleading or spam.

Someone is jealous.

I know who would do it, and that is very unfortunate. I seldom say this, but I don’t trust how that occurred.

With that being said, I’ll be functioning from my business page and other accounts, just not my personal page. When my posts were wrongly reported, it meant I was no longer eligible for monetizing, even after reaching 500 followers.

However (you can laugh now) my business page is still eligible. So I will work from that page, and let this go.

But since this person is keeping tabs on me, is obviously jealous and needs therapy, here is my message to them –

Hurting me doesn’t make your life better. It makes you more miserable. You haven’t taken anything away from me, you’ve only stunted your own growth. Get help, get therapy, and heal what’s is so easily triggered by my success. I would never lash out at anyone because of jealousy. Do better.

I’m sorry you had that experience. I’m impressed you are big enough to adapt and move on.

    1. Thank you, it’s alright. I actually just became eligible for a couple of other options on my business page within the last hour. I’d prefer to address the truth and offer hope for people who act that way. The sad part is, I know exactly who is responsible.

      2. Yes it is 😊 I’d rather not have a hardened heart, anyway.
