Most of what we wear now is vintage. Some have modern twists, others have remained the same.
I have always adored vintage looks, centered around the 50s and 60s, where glam really became a thing. As an example, more accessible.
While things really do repeat themselves, I feel some are items fit in the category of “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.”
It also shines a little light on how time really is an illusion.
In 2025, so many eras mesh together – even from hundreds of years ago. It’s fun testing things out or watching other people style items together. It is art and it is inspiring.
Whatever new styles unfold, will the be meshed together with everything else. It will be interesting.
Clothing helps define character, even when you decide to dress a certain way because it was what you were told.
It’s apart of identity, so be sure to do it your way. I’d certainly ignore anyone saying otherwise, considering most who are judgmental are unhappy.
When I was younger, I didn’t know how to obtain the vintage looks and items I sought after. I say I was still growing up.
I’d also suggest I learn something new everyday.
