Back to the dollar store I go – my almost ten year old used the neon yellow gel pen to death! RIP useful pen.

These were a lot of fun, and helped keep my mind on other things. I start commissioned work tomorrow for about three designs for a recording artist. In this case, whatever sells – they split the money with me. I’m very excited about this. The designs are weird, outlandish and alternative. Exactly what I’m about.

Things have turned back to normal for the moment. I am packing, planning and cleaning before next Tuesday. My interview is done, features turned in…I should take time to relax honestly. I’m hoping to edit a few more chapters before my vacation with my significant other.

I should not be so concerned with my hair, what I’m wearing and so on for my trip. But I am. I still have a gift to wash and pack, other gifts I’m bringing…it’s crazy really. But also, I’m happy. I’m not panicking or mad. I’m looking forward to everything. But especially taking naps with my love. I sleep on my own, but around him…I sleep undisturbed, and blissful.

After this brief break, we both go back to the grind. He’s going on tour in August and has other shows lined up. I am so proud of him! I’m going to complete my fourth draft, consider a fifth…and work on the second book to 🥀The Fray🥀
