March 23rd, ThÄ-LØBÖ releases his first solo project, titled Expect the Unexpected. I was able to get a front row seat, having heard every single track before and after studio sessions. It is incredible.
There are screamos songs, like They Won’t Stop, where the 28 year old opens the track as if he never needs to take a breath. In between that, songs like Peace Treaty and Look Ma, I’m an Alien, showing how diverse and talented this up and coming recording artist truly is.
After respectfully parting ways with The Gypsy Caravan, he began creating his own songs, writing lyrics – and filling out paperwork to own the rights to everything he touched. Recently, I discovered he not only plays piano, he also plays guitar…two of the hardest instruments to learn.
You can hear his talent in his pace, lyrics and music choices. I can guarantee it hasn’t gone unnoticed, as a handful of artists have asked to feature him on upcoming songs (ie Aelle).
It won’t take long before he’s in the spotlight – the place where he belongs. The title of his album fits perfectly, and it is awesome being able to watch someone’s career blossom like this!
Here are a couple of his tracks, which are streaming everywhere! ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
