Amidst everything I have going on, I thought it would be wise to release both Dream Like a Pisces and Sad Boi Love two months ahead of schedule for various reasons.
Both songs recorded well, edits and changes were made, and I am pleased with the outcome. I am here to have fun. Being a perfectionist really takes away from that aim.
As mentioned in a previous blog, ThÄ-LØBÖ produced the two songs releasing in February, as well as the rest of my *album.* Ten songs spawned from all of this, and I couldn’t be happier.
I will only release one other song this year, as I await the perfect time to drop the album. Releasing these songs also open up other opportunities to finish work geared towards The Fray, which is in its final draft.
This is probably the most fun I have had in a while – writing lyrics, singing, imagining up looks and taking pics! It has been great!
