Update – Interview, Influx of Followers

I’m no stranger to a mass following – but this territory is new to me. It is from organic reach…and that is incredible. There are varying reasons as to why, and while it’s good to run ads to garner attention…getting said attention without funds or needing to pay for followers is better in the long run.

They’re following you because they want to-

While running ads presents instant results, growing a community where people like, share, comment and message you is far more important. They have ideas, questions and comments they’d like to express.

Paid followers usually click follow, and leave it at that.

You do something they enjoy-

Whether you’re writing books, or unboxing, gathering an audience who has similar interests means you’re giving them inspiration. Influencing others (positively) to try new things, or do something a different way is encouraging. Sometimes, you can change the course of someone’s life or make their day much better. These type of connections are crucial when building.

It may be out of respect-

I follow someone when I see something I respect or understand. Being connected to other people is necessary. It helps with growth and self awareness.

Knowing someone’s view point, rather than their dress color makes the experience worth while. There’s a level of spiritual maturity you gain expressing interesting, and learning more.

They admire you

Admiration goes beyond looks. They appreciate something you do, or how you do it. It’s a conversation starter. And in most cases, these types stick around. They’re here to learn!

I value community over stardom, even though I’m headed that way. I’m happy for the experiences I’ve come across, and even more grateful for the connections I’ve made!

Interview with VoyagerDenver Magazine-

This morning, I received an email on what I need to do! There will be a questionnaire, and I have to send in about 8 photos of myself. I have to submit everything in the next two weeks, and I couldn’t be happier. Aside from the questionnaire, other questions and information will be relayed.

VoyageLA is an LA based magazine company, with syndicates in other cities, like Denver! While I represent my city, knowing that it’s a national syndicate is very exciting!

With The Fray garnering so much attention, this is exactly what I need! This will certainly be at the top of my to-do list, and I couldn’t be happier.

As I wrap up this update, I want to thank everyone who follows me, shares, comments and likes my content! It means everything 🫶🏽
