Originally, I set out to finish a thirty chapter book because I wanted to push myself, and I am very close to that goal! I have just finished chapter twenty-seven for The Fray, and I seriously need to take a moment!
I would like to finish more art, but I’ve been busy with other projects, so hopefully this weekend…I can get to that! I have managed to write decently lengthed chapters, and I have more ideas for a second novel!
So far I have written 93,732 words for my manuscript. My goal was 100k! To be honest, if that amount of words comes before chapter thirty, it will need to end! Anything over 100k is a bit much.
Why is this exciting? I was depressed for a while, still writing. Yet, I was managing novellas. Two hundred page books, which is fine. I really wanted to try this, and it’s turned into something incredible.
A lot of traffic for the manuscript is seen daily, and people have been openly expressing interest! This is new for me, but also, I have worked hard for over a decade…I’ve never stopped.
I am proud of the story line, content and the art that goes along with it. But, I am still going to take my time. In the past, I would shell out books and rush to publish. Taking care this time is a major goal of mine!
There is so much more to expect as we go along. I plan to release the novel in the summer of 2025.
Halloween, I will post a preview to my favorite chapter, but only for a limited time.
Thanks to everyone who’s been apart of this journey!
